The Minnesota Scholastic Arts Awards (MSAA) are designed to foster creative expression in high school and middle school students by offering visibility and scholarships to talented students.
Two of St. Paul Preparatory School's students received honors at the 2012 competition. A total of 1,375 pieces of artwork were submitted. These winners were selected by a jury of arts educators from around the country.

Minneapolis College of Art and Design in Minneapolis, MN.
Hee Soo entered 8 pieces and Ho Min entered 2.
Hee Soo received top honors (Gold Key) for three of her pieces, Silver Key (second place)
for one piece of art, and Honorable Mention for two of her pieces.
Ho Min received the Silver Key for one piece.
